Giving Tuesday is a special time when the Copper Country comes together to promote community.
Keweenaw Roller Derby is excited to partner for the first time with Copper Shores #GiveCopperCountry movement, which means every donation made through Copper Shores goes even further.
Funds raised will help Keweenaw Roller Derby reduce financial barriers and improve participant safety by providing loaner skates, protective equipment, first-aid supplies, volunteer training, and affordable practice spaces. Donations will also help lower participation costs and support introductory skating opportunities, community events, and outreach.
By welcoming people of different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels, Keweenaw Roller Derby provides opportunities to learn new skills, stay physically active, volunteer, and build lasting friendships. Together, we’re building confidence, developing leadership and teamwork skills, and strengthening community connections throughout the Keweenaw.
